Providers at Austin Gastroenterology
Austin Gastroenterology has more than 35 board-certified gastroenterologists and more than two dozen advanced practice providers (physician assistants, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists) delivering care from Georgetown to Kyle and all points in between. We invite you to learn more about our gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers below.
When you visit one of our physician offices or endoscopy centers, you'll be greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff who will work with your individual needs and healthcare goals. Here's a look at some of the team members you'll meet:
One of our board-certified gastroenterology experts. Before you schedule any procedure, we'll make sure that you meet and discuss your proposed treatment plan or procedure with your physician. We'll go over the risks, benefits, and alternatives of your proposed treatment plan or procedure. You'll be given an opportunity to ask questions and discuss your needs with the physician
Your physician assistant (PA), nurse practitioner (NP), or clinical nurse specialist (CNS) collaborates with your physician on your individual treatment plan. Your physician directs your care with the PA/NP/CNS to assure that all of your needs are met.
A registered nurse (RN) will assist your physician during your procedure. Our certified gastrointestinal registered nurses (CGRN) are recognized by the SGNA as specialists in GI nursing.
Our nurses are your advocate during your stay at the endoscopy center — focused on your health, care, and well-being. All of our nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) practices.
For gastrointestinal procedures, endoscopy technicians are the vital link between man and machine. Our endoscopy technicians work at the direction of your physician. They ensure that our advanced technologies are used to their full advantage.
Each AG endoscopy technician is certified by the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) as a gastroenterology technical specialist (GTS) and a practitioner of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
“The entire staff was pleasant, professional and efficient. I was so nervous and everyone, from the check-in staff to nurses and techs to the anesthesiologist and finally Dr Reddy simply made the whole experience so comfortable. Highly recommend these fine folks.”Read Testimonials
