Meet Dr. Parastoo Jangouk (coming October 2020)
Dr. Parastoo Jangouk is dual board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Jangouk completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Yale University and her residency and internship at the University of Pittsburgh (UPMC). After completing her fellowship training, Dr. Jangouk was recruited by UCLA as a gastroenterology attending, where she worked for two years.
Dr. Jangouk has extensive research background, having completed two research fellowships at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Heinrich Heine University in Duesseldorf, Germany, where she authored several prestigious manuscripts. Her clinical expertise incudes irritable bowel syndrome, functional GI disorders, obesity medicine, colon cancer screening, preventive medicine, and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Dr. Jangouk is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Texas Medical Association.
