Meet Dr. Richard Sperling
Dr. Richard Sperling attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, graduating in 1988. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, where he was chief medical resident from 1991-1992.
Dr. Sperling completed his GI fellowship at the University of San Francisco from 1992-1995. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sperling was the chief of gastrointestinal medicine at the Central Texas Medical Foundation from 1995-1999 and currently holds the same position at Seton Medical Center. He has practiced in Austin since 1995.
