Meet Dr. Binh Pham

Dr. Binh Pham is a board-certified gastroenterologist with extensive training and expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1999 and completed his residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Texas mEdical Branch in Galveston in 2005. He then pursued an advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, which he completed in 2006.

That same year, Dr. Pham was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. During his tenure, he was actively engaged in clinical research, published numerous manuscripts and abstracts, and served as course director for regional and national interventional endoscopy symposiums.

In 2011, Dr. Pham joined Austin Gastroenterology, where he continues to practice as a specialist in advanced endoscopic techniques. His expertise includes procedures such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic mucosal resection of precancerous gastrointestinal lesions, deep small bowel enteroscopy, metal luminal stenting, and minimally invasive therapy for gastrointestinal perforations.

Dr. Pham is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Texas Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, where he currently serves as a board member. He has been recognized by Austin Monthly as a Top Doctor in gastroenterology.

His treatment philosophy emphasizes patient-centered care, open communication, and respect for individual and family values. He is dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate patient education, shared decision-making, and a commitment to ensuring both patient comfort and trust.
