Louise Wilson joined Austin Gastroenterology in September 2012 and assists Dr. Chad Long in the Cedar Park office. Prior to joining the Austin Gastro team, Louise spent 10 years working as a nurse practitioner with Dekalb Gastroenterology Associates in Decatur, Georgia.
After completing her bachelor degree in nursing, Louise spent time as a charge nurse and team leader for the US Army in Landstuhl, Germany. She then moved to Atlanta to complete her graduate education at Georgia State University, while working as an operating room supervisor and nurse at the Dermatology Association of Atlanta and as an operating room nurse for Dr. Janice Johnston, OB/GYN.
With experience in OB/GYN, medical and operating room hospital units, and family practice, Louise offers a wealth of experience to the AG team while enjoying Austin.
