Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Meet Elizabeth Danner, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC
Elizabeth Danner, began her nursing career in high-acuity settings, including the emergency department and intensive care unit. This experience helped shape a strong foundation in clinical assessment, treatment, care coordination, and evidence-based decision-making. She later transitioned into advanced practice as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, working in inpatient hospital medicine and further developing a practice style centered on clear communication, diagnostic reasoning, and a collaborative approach to patient care. She also enjoys teaching and serves as an adjunct clinical instructor.
Elizabeth is excited to join Austin Gastroenterology and expand her knowledge in digestive and liver health. Her treatment philosophy focuses on partnering with patients by listening carefully and clearly explaining treatment options, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys all things true crime, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, spending time outdoors, and being with her family and dogs.
