Meet Dr. David Kim

Dr. David Kim graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in biochemistry under the Dean’s Scholars Honors Program. He then attended medical school and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Drawn to the interesting pathology and complexity of the digestive system, he decided to pursue subspecialty training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. During his time there, he served as the chief administrative fellow, published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, and presented at multiple national meetings.

Dr. Kim has interests in inflammatory bowel disease, the care of hospitalized patients, including management of GI bleeding, and quality measures in endoscopy.

His hobbies outside of medicine include cycling, playing board games, and hiking outdoors in the areas that the Hill Country has to offer.
