Meet Erica Burg

Erica Burg joined the Austin Gastroenterology team in September 2016. Prior to that, she worked as a nurse practitioner for five years in a gastroenterology clinic in Portland, Oregon, which involved patient care in both the clinic and hospital settings. Other focus areas over the last 15 years include ICU, older adults, and hospice care.

Erica attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for her undergraduate degree in nursing followed by her master degree in nursing. She is nationally board certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing.

In her free time, Erica enjoys exploring Austin with her husband, daughter, and son. She also enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, hiking, music, food, art, and spending time with family and friends.
