Amber Armstrong, AG-ACNP
Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Meet Amber Armstrong
Amber Armstrong was born and raised in Austin and is excited to be able to provide gastrointestinal care to patients in her hometown. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas and went on to get her master degree at UT San Antonio Health Science Center. There, Amber received a post-master’s certificate in adult gerontology acute care. She was confident Austin Gastroenterology would be a great fit for her after seeing the physicians’ happiness and satisfaction during her interview.
Amber’s approach to medicine is about caring for the whole person and not just a disease or illness. Her passion lies at the bedside, focused on compassion with a foundation in trauma and informed care delivery. Outside the office, Amber enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with her family.
