Meet Britney Roman Dann
Britney “Brit” Roman Dann, PA-C, has been caring for patients at Austin Gastroenterology since 2012. She brings genuine curiosity and energy to each visit focusing on clear communication and shared understanding. Brit enjoys helping patients make sense of their symptoms and feel confident in the steps they can take to improve their digestive health. She is guided by Nelson Mandela’s philosophy that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
Brit is a GI generalist with experience across the full spectrum of digestive conditions. Her special interests include liver health and cirrhosis management, preventative care including colorectal cancer screening and colonoscopy, and the evaluation and treatment of functional GI disorders (IBS/FD-GBI) using thoughtful, practical, individualized approaches. She also manages common gastrointestinal concerns such as reflux, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, and nutrition-related digestive issues.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Nutrition at Cornell University and earned her Master in Physician Assistant Studies at DeSales University, where she was honored on the Dean’s List and inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Academic Honor Society.
Originally from Southern California, Brit lived in New York City for four years before moving to Austin in 2012. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her son, Jack.
