Meet Kellie Reyna
Kellie Reyna is a physician assistant working in the office clinic setting with Dr. Eduardo Alcocer and also assists Austin Gastroenterology physicians in the North Austin Hospitals. She was with Austin Gastro from 2009 through 2018 working in a similar capacity, and left Austin to work in Liver Transplant and Hepatology with the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. While there, Kellie worked with patients with a variety of acute and chronic liver conditions both pre and post liver transplant, including liver selection committee. Kellie returned to Texas in 2019 to work at UT Health in San Antonio with the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. She worked with the Advanced Endoscopy (AE) team at University Hospital with both the Faculty and the Advanced Fellows in the hospital focusing on patients with various hepatobililary conditions requiring endoscopic intervention
Kellie returned to her hometown of Austin and resumed working with Austin Gastroenterology in 2020. She enjoys reading, shopping, spending time with friends and family and staying current with latest research in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She has a Masters of Physicians Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
