| Dr. Sperling attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, graduating in 1988. He completed his internship and Internal Medicine residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center where he was chief medical resident from 1991-1992. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His memberships in professional societies include the American College of Gastroenterology, the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Sperling was the Chief of Gastrointestinal Medicine at the Central Texas Medical Foundation from 1995-1999 and currently holds the same position at Seton Medical Center. He has practiced in Austin since 1995. |
