Dr. Hsu graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 1991 and he received a Master in Public Health from Harvard University in 1993. He completed his internship and residency training at the Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. His fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology was completed at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Hsu is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy and the Travis County Medical Society. He has received research awards in Gastroenterology and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals in Gastroenterology. Additionally, he has presented many papers at prestigious national medical meetings. He speaks several foreign languages including Spanish and Chinese. Dr. Hsu has been in practice in Austin since 1999.
