Dr. Godell graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biochemistry. He continued his studies at the University of Texas obtaining a Master’s degree studying aspects of cellular injury and repair. Dr. Godell earned his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He was named the Stjepcevich Scholar for his class. Dr. Godell is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Ohio State University. During his Gastroenterology Fellowship, he earned a Master’s of Medical Science from OSU. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Godell joined Austin Gastroenterology, P.A. in September 2005. |
