Dr. Adams earned his engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the Army Artillery seven years before beginning his medical education. He graduated from North Texas University Health Science Center at Fort Worth and completed his internship and residency at David Grant United States Air Force Medical Center/University of California at Davis. He practiced four years as a general internist with the U.S. Air Force and followed with fellowship training in gastroenterology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. He is a member of the American and Texas Medical Associations, Travis County Medical Society, American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Adams has practiced in the Austin area since 1993.
